We got the keys!
I'm adding these videos as a log of the first walkaround we ever filmed of the farm when we arrived. We wanted to document these moments because they're a mishmash of our reactions when the scale of the deterioration since we viewed the site 7 months prior hit home.
It was the moment we said "What the f*** have we done!?" and really meant it. Seeing this through a screen without being able to smell the disgusting stenches, feel the wet in the air indoors, and see the scale of the project in the cold light of day just isn't the same. So imagine those when you hit play, plus add in the reality of investing your life savings into this, with a 2-year ticker going down to sink or swim.
She was A LOT to come into, and we both handle stress through both humour and action, and thus that's what followed!
Disclaimer for reactions: Sometimes I have odd reactions, and say things in ways that seem appropriate to me but probably aren’t to others.
