Week 1 on the farm

The first 24 hours right through to the end of our first week on the farm are all in this vlog, which was originally uploaded to YouTube. It's very much a step-by-step vlog that covers the realities of taking on a larger property with utilities that have no known location, as the seller was not familiar with the site itself.

Finding the essentials–water, electricity, heat and so on–is kinda vital, so this is a full play-by-play of Week 1 and what we decided to focus on first. We also clocked what didn't work, such as the electricity for everywhere else other than the cottage, and a number of other things.

This week was full of admin tasks organising and finalising trades to get them onto the site as quickly as possible for emergency repairs, but a lot of the not-sexy stuff isn't covered in here.
